Hi! I don't know where to start.. I am 31 years old, and I feel like I have been overweight my entire life. Always seen as "the fat girl" of the group. (Regardless of if I was or not) I had pretty much given up on being "the fit girl". I could only JUST fit into rides at Movieworld, couldn't walk up a small hill without being out of breath, had to double check places before I went to make sure I fit (think: high ropes course or indoor rock climbing and stuff) But after my life took a big turn at the end of 2015, I decided that I didn't want to be that girl anymore, I weighed in at 115kg and that was not ok for my 165cm frame. I wanted to feel confident and happy, and I was the only person who could change that.
Massive goals! I am down to 81/82kg, I am energetic, positive & all round more involved with life.
It's flexibility. Zoe helps me change up my meal plans if it doesn't fit my schedule at work or if I don't like specific foods etc.
I have enlisted the help of my own powerlifting coach which I train with once a week (I love lifting heavy things!) I also have my program from Next Level Physique for my gym days. I try to get in a gym session every second day.
Honestly, I still have struggles. I work casual hours which change frequently. So getting a routine can be tricky. My best advice is to sit down each week and plan ahead all training days and meals. Write a list if you need to! Or put reminders in your phone!
Other than the constant support from Zoe, and other NLP clients - if I am struggling for motivation, I look back over old photos and reflect on how I felt the to how I feel now. Not only physically, mentally!!
